I wanna do this !

I had started a page on here about a year ago and was making some progress, then my fiance was in an accident and is now paraplegic. It's taken us quite a while to get in a groove where we feel like we are living a normal life again so here I am..... starting over and hoping to stay strong and see the results I really want to see!!!

I am looking to lose about 70 pounds which sounds INSANE. I am the kind of person who typically starts out strong and fades out fast, but this time I'm having a hard time even STARTING out strong. But I need to do this..... not only for my confidence, but to be healthy for my 7 year old and have more energy to get through everything we all need to get through!!!

I want to be happier and healthier and this is the only way to do it :--) Here goes nothing

So, you had a bad week - don't let it get you down. I had a bad YEAR last year :) But, I'm still standing.
And don't overdo it with the DVD. If you're on a smaller level, and its still difficult - stay there. You don't want to injure yourself in anyway. That'd REALLY set you back!

It's the Couch to 5K program ( you go from no running, to being able to run a 5K in 9 weeks).

I've heard people say doing the shred 30 days in a row had good results for them. I just can't stand doing the same thing every day, so that's why I'm mixing it up emoticon

I am doing other exercise. I actually alternate the Shred with the C25K program, so I'm not exactly following it 30 days straight.

I am seeing results come, they would probably come faster if I could clean up my eating habits!!

On the Jillian Michael team page I took heart because of a thread on Week 2, Everyone seems to agree it is crazy hard, and someone said they find it the hardest of the 3 weeks. So I know I'm in good company lol. Keep at it!! emoticon

Definitely get yourself away from weighin in multiple times a day. It will only cause tears. However, if you need to weigh in daily, just make sure its at the same time! (And after the same amount of meals - ie: every day right before lunch or something). Because its totally normal to flux. Some do more than others, and you seemed to be blessed with teh large flux like me! :) I always say the second I take a bite, I gain 5 lbs, and it's pretty weird!!


WAY TO GO on only stopping once today on Jillian! On day five and you've already come so far - super impressive! I haven't ever tried Jillians. I should.
I seriously need to work on fitness!
