Then and Now. Current as of April 2012
The hubster and I
This dress is so beautiful! I found inspiration in it!
I started my journey in November of 2010. I had lost 110 lbs and currently sit back at 107 lost.
As we all would LOVE for our weight to blast off and us get back to our "normal" lives again... WELL that is just not going to happen. We aren't addressing the issue of how we got in our situation in the first place.
Let me tell you, mine was eating for all the wrong reasons, not tracking and NOT listening to my body.
That has been my biggest challenge. My mind.
We can't just wake up with the intention of making things go our way without first rolling up our sleeves, digging in and getting dirty.
I want to challenge my body(and mind) to really see what I'm made of.
I want to have a healthy BMI, and Body Fat %.
I am gonna create my own happiness, and build a stronger, smarter, faster version of myself so that I can do things that I used to only dream about!
No EXCUSES! Just raw HONESTY with myself. Just because we don't document things, doesn't mean that they didn't happen. =) lol
My Cardio, Strength, Stretching, finding Balance, and good solid support are keys to my success.
WATER ~ WATER ~ WATER ~
Eat as clean as possible.
Homemade, planned out meals as much as I can.
Use my meats as more of a condiment than the main attraction, and trying to have fish 3 times a week.
I'm done putting my life on hold. You never know how long we've been given. Wasting even one more second is UNACCEPTABLE!
I first joined SparkPeople to increase my accountability, and tracking accuracy, and wound up gaining an incredible support network! So much INSPIRATION!
I want to inspire others to find the courage to put themself first.
You will never be able to take care of someone else, if you are unable or unwilling to take care of you.
No matter what, I WILL LOVE MYSELF!!!!
I WILL LOVE MYSELF!
We all hit speed bumps, but we MUST keep on keepin' on!

“I was on a panel once at which everyone else had a card in front of them with initials like PhD., M.D., M.S.N….I felt funny that I had no initials after my name, so I picked up my name card and wrote ‘F.F.H.’ When asked what it stood for, I said, ‘Formerly Fat Housewife’.” - Jean Nidetch
