Dancing Queen

Looking to get into better alignment with my life by dancing, swimming and creating art. Lost 40 lbs over 2 years, dancing and tracking food daily. Then, I fell into a corporate life filled with snacks and no exercise for 3 years. Gained all back plus 15 lbs.

Turning 40 this April, 5th 2014. Gonna get into the best flow so the most wonderful opportunities will beat a path to my door.

Switched daily MOCHA'S (2) for Iced Coffee- 5 lbs lost
*Learning to Cook for myself and friends
(Switched from Sandwiches to grilled chicken w salad for lunch- 5 lbs lost)
*Dance Zumba (no weight lost yet- but, man, it help to de-stress)
*Walk up SF hills at Lunchtime with pals

Hi Cris - Thanks for my Sparkgoodie and foot surgery advice. It's occurred to me that since I'm in a state that just approved medical marijuana, my post-surgery options can be very... interesting.

Hi Cris, thank you for the Sparkgoodie and note! Reading your Sparkpage it seems like we've traveled a similar road - lost a good deal of weight, then hit road blocks and regained. Good for you for picking yourself up and getting back on track!

Good luck with your foot, I know injuries can make things tough. Ironically I am having foot surgery in a few weeks, and while I am not looking forward to the recovery I know in the long run it will help support a healthier lifestyle. It's hard to keep moving when your feet hurt!
