Work In Progress

I have to lose this weight for my health's sake. I have PTSD, generalized anxiety, social anxiety, bipolar, depression and panic attacks; all called 'hidden illnesses' Most people don't know I have them. When you work out regularly and eat right, it helps those illnesses not to be so bad.

I have to lose this weight for my health's sake. I have PTSD, generalized anxiety, social anxiety, bipolar, depression and panic attacks; all called 'hidden illnesses' Most people don't know I have them. When you work out regularly and eat right, it helps those illnesses not to be so bad.

But on top of that my cholesterol is borderline high, I have pre-Diabetes and fatty liver disease. All of which I'm told are still at the stage where they are reversible if I lose weight by working out and eating right.

Right now I'm working towards the goal of having a service dog. I'm saving and setting up a donations account. But I'm also trying to get ready physically. The dog will be a high energy one and I'll need to walk her at least twice a day, plus take her out to interact with everything we can so she can get used to the stimuli of the world without it bothering her. I'll be training her myself with the help of a company that does this because it is cheaper, which is still pretty expensive, plus buy the dog!

Please pray for me that this will happen. I need to lose the weight and get in shape, but I also need the service dog so that I can start doing things that I can't currently do with my hidden illnesses.

Thank you for your kind note and snowman. It is great you can reverse health issues by eating better and moving more. You can do this.

Thank you for the tree. Last Christmas was hard--husband died suddenly in July, I had gastric bypass surgery in December so minimal effort toward Christmas. Did decorate with my 2nd grade Sunday Schoolers. This year enjoyed decorating our new home.

Ya! On getting the shopping done. Mine was done weekend before Thanksgiving, and I finished my last crocheted gift this morning. WOOHOO! Merry Christmas!
