Slow and Steady Wins The Race

I've tried before and failed, what makes this time different? This time my attitude is just where it needs to be. I'm not looking for a quick fix, I know this is going to take time and energy.

I'm doing this for me this time. So I can feel like me again. So I can do the things I love to do like hiking and biking. I'm doing this for me, so that I can be healthy and not get diabetes (I'm super close to it!). I'm doing this for me so that I can feel better about me, have more energy ...

This time I will win, even if I only lose a few pounds a month, even if it feels like it is taking forever. I may stumble, but I will not give up.

homeschooler and love my job! I have two little girls, Princess is 8 and Angel is 6. I have a wonderful, supportive darling husband (DH).

Other Information:
I love to read, be outdoors, knit, bake, play video games, bead... I'm learning how to crochet and sew, and bake more! I love doing crafts with my kids and learning to do new things!

If you havent read this book about hiking the Appalachian Trail I thought you might want to check it out emoticon

He is accompanied by his friend Stephen Katz, a hilarious and complicated figure who reads like he was painted with Christopher Guestís finest comedic brush strokes. Bryson explores not only the wilderness, but also his checkered history as an American, his renewed passion for conservation and his deeply funny relationship with Katz. Bryson tends to wax histrionic, but in this, his masterpiece, his sardonic wit is perfectly matched to the material.
