One day, and one pound at a time...

Hi Spark People!

I'm back at it again, working hard to change my lifestyle for the better. I've always struggled with my weight off and on my whole life. I've been as heavy as 309lbs, and as low as 135lbs at the height of 5' 11. At this point, I want to learn to be healthier, and to live a lifestyle that is good for my future family. I'm ready once again for the challenge!

My Goals:

Eat clean, workout dirty everyday!

Look in the mirror, and be proud of myself! :):):)

My Program:
-CLEAN DIET!!! If it's not natural, don't eat it.

-I work out 30 mins -1 hour 5-7 days per week.

-I keep a food journal, and I record everything. It holds me accountable.

-I have eliminated: fast foods, fried foods, soda, alcohol, juices.

-I have several servings of fruits and green vegetables everyday.

-Drink plenty of water, at least 8-10 glasses per day.

-Don't deprive; allow 1 cheat snack per week.

-I do NOT use any weight loss pills or any weight loss supplements.

Personal Information:
My name is Joselyn, and I'm 29, from Frisco, TX, and I've always struggled with my weight. Throughout my life my weight has gone up and down, yo-yoing me from very thin to severely obese.

It's time to turn this thing around, and get control of this beast I call "comfort eating." My ultimate goal is to live a long lasting and healthy life.

I only believe in doing this the old fashioned, natural way, through eating right and exercise. I want to inspire my friends and family to attain the best health they can have. :)

Other Information:
My ULTIMATE goal is to have my weight loss success story featured in a credited magazine article such as Shape or People Magazine!

To be under 200 pounds for the first time in 8 years by my 30th Birthday.
