UPDATE March 2016

I have lost 55 lbs!!! I still can't quite believe it. I have gone down 6 dress sizes and gained all kinds of muscle, it is wonderful how much easier some things are. I am also really excited about becoming a Team Beachbody Coach. I love connecting and sharing with others about living in a healthy way.

Hello! I am in my late 20's now and I joined SparkPeople a number of years ago and I found it really helpful then but then I stopped coming on. More recently I rediscovered SparkPeople when I wanted to shape up for my wedding. (It has come and gone.) I am finally out of school now which used to take over my life.

I have just joined Goodlife and had my first 2 classes there which were SO awesome! About a month ago when I first considered joining Goodlife I found myself at a new highest weight ever. I am so many different feelings that yet again this number has gotten higher.
I have 3 goals, first to be healthy, mind, body, spirit, next to increase my physical capacity to enjoy my passion for dance, and last (but not least) I want to have children in a few years but first I want to have been at a healthy weight and shape.
I feel so positive about my new membership with Goodlife. I want to take this momentum and add it to building a crucial element of any weight loss journey- believing you will do it.
I have struggled so much with believing I can get to my goal over many years. But I bring with me all the knowledge I gained over the years of what works for me.
UPDATE
I now work out at the Athletic Club; I'm loving aquafit, dance and yoga. I work to balance a frequently stressful job, connecting with family and friends (neither live nearby) and enjoying and appreciating everyday life with my spouse and our pets. I recently went to a Zumba class when I hadn't been in months and had SO MUCH fun. Cheers!

My Goals:
1) To be healthy, in mind, body and spirit
2) to come off and stay off blood pressure medication and to be in good physical condition before it is time for our next baby UPDATE I have been off bp medication for a while and I love the muscle tone that I have been building!
3) to increase my physical capacity to enjoy my passion for dance
4) To feel great in whatever I throw on
UPDATE FOR ALL GOALS: Losing 55 lbs has made tremendous progress towards these goals.


My Program:
I will follow my workout program, right now that is 21 Day Fix.
I will eat healthfully, I will enjoy treats in moderation and focus on fueling my body. I will also track what I am eating for an external reality check. I have been using the 21 Day Fix container eating plan. I love it!

    Hey!

    Thanks for asking! I'm finally feeling better. I still struggle with some stomach issues but I knew that I had issues in addition to gallbladder. I'm still on the search for having a consistent nutrition plan that I can stick with daily that won't cause the stomach upset.

    I've actually signed up to be a BB coach as well. LOL. I can't wait for my first program to arrive.

    Thanks so much for the kind words on my blogs!! Maintaining even when you aren't at goal is a huge accomplishment. Keeping off any amount of weight is not easy at all!
