Promise

I want not only to lose myself, but motivate my husband to lose as
well, for health reasons. Weight has been an ongoing battle all my
life, but has gotten worse with the Arthritis. Hard to do stuff when it
hurts, however, dying prematurely is a big motivator.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and adding your encouragement!

As for the treadmill, it really is a "just get on it" thing. Today I was exhausted and didn't want to. So I told myself it's just walking, I don't care if I don't get above 1, I'm going to spend an hour on the stupid thing. I usually watch tv while on it. Once I'm on it, it gets easier, and I know that, so it helps me to get on. Then I was able to keep it over 3, so I'm happy.

Tomorrow will be the real challenge. I'm doing the Couch 2 5k program and tomorrow I have to run for 3 minutes straight twice. I'm just glad that wasn't today!

Darlene, thanks so much for you comment and support. I feel like it is one baby step at a time. Pretty silly, huh?

Maybe we're sisters separated at birth! Let's really figure out a time & place to meet & ride this summer.

Great to hear from you, Darlene. I guess the new breed of businessmen don't see the need for loyalty to their employees or customers. I figure you were right with the whole Kickback thing on the buffet. $15 is a lot to spend at a buffet, unless there are unlimited margaritas or such! My daughter says I should email Harley corporate headquarters. Think it'd help?
