Hi everyone. I am working on getting back to my fighting weight. I have a long way to go. But I am focused and my family is with me every step of the way. Update: I am only three months into my time here on Sparkpeople and I can safely say this website is a true life changer and life saver. The people and resources on this website are a miracle to someone like me. Update (2/1/2010): I stay as ever committed to reaching my final goal of 220. Although I stumbled and struggled the last month or two. I find myself very happy with the place I am in now. I am fit, I am athletic again. I can sprint!! I can run for miles and miles. I can bike for hours. The goal weight is just a number. I find in my heart that I am where I want to be. I am happy, energetic and aware of my bodies wants and desires. Those wants and desires are sneaky though. Had you asked me a year ago what they were, I would have incorrectly told you I was tired and stressed. Now I see what my body wants... what it really wants. It craves competition, it craves to be pushed to new heights. I just need to get past the mental blocks that hinder and limit. Every day I get better at getting past those. Every day I get stronger, both mentally and physically. Update (2/1/2010): I am at my goal weight now. I am focusing on increasing my lean body mass, while continueing to lower my fat percentages. In May I totalled my car and I have been commuting 46 miles to work everyday by bicycle and absolutely loving it. ---- I have learned so much here and hope you will too. I will gladly share my paltry information I have learned and hope I can help in encouraging all my friends here.

My Goals:
Get back to my college weight and my college waist. Become Healthier to keep up with my boys.
My Program:
Cardio: I bike 46 miles a day to and from work. Trying to fit in running into this cardio laden plan Strength Training 5x a week. One major body group each day Throw in some pool time with the kids, some basketball with the neighborhood boys and some tennis with anyone that can handle my backhand. LOL!!!
Personal Information:
Jacksonville, FL Married with 2 boys and a girl. Work in the medical industry (accounting) Hopelessly love my family. And I am a ridicously fanatic Gator fan!!!
Other Information:
I love movies, Old GM cars and most things electronic. I am a big fan of Dan Brown, Steven James, Stephanie Meyer, J.D. Robb and Michael Criton. But I read pretty much anything I can get my hands on. I am still a kid at heart (ask my wife). I love playing video games with my kids, watching cartoons and pillow fights when the wife is not looking. Oh and I love gadgets. :)
