Hi, my name is Sucatha. I'm 46 years old, happily married to the most wonderful man, and the proud mother of three amazing boys: William, 27, Justin, 22, and Stephen, 21.

I have been overweight more than half my life. As a young girl, I wasn't overweight, I even modeled for a time. It was during my pregnancies that I started putting on weight and never took it off, only adding to it.

I have tried over the years to lose weight and get fit and I've had short term success, but nothing lasting. But now, as I look at my life and where I am physically and emotionally about my body, this is my breaking point, this is my line in the sand. I have made a decision that this is where the rubber meets the road. I'm not focusing on my long term goals of getting to 135 lbs with 18% body fat. That's overwhelming. Instead, I'm going to focus on taking the every day steps, making the daily choices that will create a snowball effect and build momentum to propel me towards reaching my goals.

Lead a happy, fit, and healthy lifestyle

Try to get more rest

Lead a balanced life

My Program:
Weight train 3x a week:

First week:
Upper body, lower body, upper body

Second week:
Lower body, upper body,
lower body

Cardio 3x a week, minimum of 30 minutes

Joined the 5k Walk/Jog program

Eat a clean, healthy diet made up of vegetables, fruit, complex carbs, and lean protein

Drink plenty of water and detox water made of lemons, cucumber and mint

I live in Philadelphia, PA with my wonderful husband, Robert.

We have three amazing sons:
William, 27, is in the Air Force, stationed in Ohio

Justin, 22, is in the Marines, currently deployed to Afghanistan

Stephen, 21, is in ministry school, getting ready for a missions trip

Thank you for the goodie, that was so thoughtful! I am happy about the 3 lbs although I have gained and lost so many times that I don't think I'll "believe it" until I lose more like 35, which will put me a quarter of the way toward my goal. That "quarter down" marker will be 222 lbs for me. That is so much!! Better not to think of the whole long road though, just this little six week journey =)

Thank you so much for the birthday wishes. How are you doing? Losing any weight this year yet? I have lost a lot of inches but no real weight which is quite odd. But hey I am done a pants size. I started juicing at the beginning of the year and have kept it up pretty well.
