My Goals:
Main weight-loss goal:

I have some small goals, which add up to my big goal :)

1st - get below 200
2nd - get to 180
3rd - 150?

My other goal is to ultimately get my diabetes under control with diet and exercise, as much as possible. I would like medication to be as minimal as possible

My Program:
I've begun following the Trim Healthy Mama way of eating which is healthy and has no processed foods. It matches up quite well with my focus on low-carb eating, and it's easy to live with.

As of now, my Diabetes is under control and I'm on very low doses of medications. My doctor is thrilled with my progress and says that I will be medication free soon if I keep doing what I'm doing.

I avoid processed/prepackaged food as much as possible and go with real food.

I walk 3 or more miles most days, and am working up to 5 miles a day.

Most of All

Thanksgiving Day brings to mind
the blessings in our lives
that usually go unnoticed:
a home that surrounds us
with comfort and protection;
delicious food, for pleasure
in both eating and sharing;
clothes to snuggle up in,
books and good entertainment
to expand our minds;
and freedom to worship our God.
Most of all we are thankful
for our family and friends,
those treasured people
who make our lives extra special.
You are part of that cherished group.
