Call Me Dee

Returning to SparkPeople was one of the best decisions I made in 2012.

I hit my goal weight 12/31/12 and it was the best way to end the year. I maintained my goal weight all of 2013 and to celebrate it I joined the At Goal & Maintaining + Transition to Maintenance team.

Motto for 2014: I am an adult! (And will therefore think and act like one, when my inner 3 year old wants to take over!)

January- 27/31 workout days; hit my daily steps count 30/31 days. ...

January- 27/31 workout days; hit my daily steps count 30/31 days. Challenges: 30 Day Abs Challenge and no cookies all month.

February- 18/28 workout days; hit my daily steps count 27/28 days. Challenges: repeat 30 Day Abs Challenge- ended 2/13; day 11 of the challenge (I got really sick).
No Cookies, Chocolate, Cake, or Candy all month- I ingested 1 fortune cookie, I totally don't think of it as a cookie; and there's some debate about my ingestion of panCakes and pound Cake, because I don't count them as cake. I had nightmares that I ingested a gummy bear or an M&M and blew the challenge, but I did better than I thought!!

March- 31/31 workout days; hit my daily steps goal 31/31 days; Streak into Spring 21/21 days; eat 3 veggies a day 28/31 days; and go to the gym 4 days a week 4/4 weeks!

April- 24/30 workout days; hit my daily steps goal 24/30 days; 100 Happy Days- Days 1-30 were fun to share; go to the gym 4 days a week- 4/5 weeks (I caught a cold the final week); and NO 'little bits', 'just a bites', or 'just ones'- Every Saturday I would have a few bites of the boyfriends' pancakes, but did impressively well the rest of the week!

May- 25/31 workout days; hit my daily steps goal 28/31 days; Challenges: 100 Happy Days- days 31-61 in the bag; Hit new goal weight- not meant to be this month; 30 Day Abs Challenge- dropped this challenge early in the month; go to the gym 4 days a week- 1/4 weeks

June- 30/30 workout days; hit my daily steps goal 29/30 days; Challenges: 100 Happy Days- days 62-91 in the bag; Go to the gym 3 days/week- 1/4 weeks; Take a walk break at work- 21/21 days; Eat within range 6 days/week- 3/4 weeks; Inch closer to that new goal weight- didn't happen

July- 26/31 workout days; hit my daily steps goal 24/31 days; Finish 100 Happy Days- done; Emma Nutt Day Maintenance Challenge (with center weight of 122lbs)- missed the deadline for the final week in July; Go to the gym 3 days/week- 4/5 weeks; Eat within range 6 days/week- 4/5 weeks

August- 23/31 workout days; hit my daily steps goal 23/31 days; Go to the gym 3 days/week- 3/4 weeks; Eat within range 6 days/week- 0 weeks (sad, I know); Run at least 3 miles/week- 2/4 weeks; Eat only 1 chocolatey snack/day- 27/31 days, 3 days I didn't have any and 1 day I had 2.

September- 22/30 workout days; hit my daily steps goal 26/30 days; Go to the gym 4 days/week- 1/4 weeks; Eat within range 6 days/week- 2/4 weeks; US Election Day Maintenance Challenge (from 9/2 - 11/3) with a center weight of 121 lbs- maintained; Eat only one chocolate snack/day; Run at least 5 miles/week- 1/4 weeks (I hurt my right foot)

October- Go to the gym 3 days/week- 3/4 weeks; Use my mini-cycle on non-gym days- missed 4 days; US Election Day Maintenance Challenge (from 9/2 - 11/3) with a center weight of 121 lbs- maintained 120 lbs all month; Eat only one chocolate snack/day- went haywire 6 separate days; Eat within range 6 days/week- zero weeks

November- Monthly Challenges: Finish US Election Day Maintenance with center weight of 121 lbs; Start Korean American Day Maintenance (11/11 - 1/12) with center weight of 120 lbs; Go to the gym 3 days/week; Eat 1 chocolatey snack/day; Eat 1 pumpkiny snack/day; Eat within range 6 days/week
