I feel awesome!
Returning to Spark People has been one of the best decisions I made in 2012.

I hit my goal weight 12/31/12 and it was the best way to end the year.
My journey isn't over, it's only just begun!
I'm ready to see what 2013 will bring!

I'm ready to see what 2013 will bring!

January- Was spent mostly in bed, I had acute tonsilitis and was given antibiotics, on the last day of the dose I had a delayed severe allergic reaction to the antibiotic. I was on steroids for the reaction. Then the last couple of weeks I had an awful cold, that I learned came from Israel, courtesy of my boss' family visiting.

February- Awesome month! 19/28 workout days. I did my first outdoor virtual 5K on Valentine's Day.

March- Great for the first 3 weeks, 13/31 workout days; no 5Ks this month, thanks to a swollen (and very tender) left ovary.

April- Started the month getting my ovary checked out, results on the 12th showed everything normal; unexplainable pain :( Ended the month with 10/30 workout days.

May-

June-

I feel for you as it will be hard. Maybe a day out together or shopping to be away from home. Maybe gauge how she feels--- shopping coffee and cake and just chat, listen to her but don't offer advise unless she asks and maybe broach it after you have SHOWN you care about her life.

It usually works for Bec and I as mother and daughter we often step on each others toes more than with hubby or son. But we work it out by talking and then we try to understand each others side. We do it a lot and have a better realtionship for fighting to keep it a good one I think.

Hey but I'm a soppy thing and usually end up crying. I like that I'm soft, but I try hard to work out why we clash and work on it.

Thanks for coming by my blog! I guess doing the SP Slide is like learning to line dance. Once you learn all the intricate steps you just sail through making the right choices without even thinking about it.

Have a great day! emoticon

It was pretty stupid to run last night after putting such poor food in my body. I meant that my body was being punished by the run too. Not that I was punishing myself. Guess it just didn't come out right. I certainly didn't enjoy that run so it felt like punishment. Lesson learned though. emoticon

"Enthusiasm is one of the most powerful engines of success. When you do a thing, do it all you might. Put your whole soul into it. Stamp it with your own personality. Be active, be energetic, be enthusiastic and faithful, and you will accomplish your objective. Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm."
- Ralph Waldo Emerson
