Hey there. My name is Missy and I'm just about 400 pounds. I say "just about" because the scale I have doesn't go up that far. I'm taking what the scale at the doctors said the last time I went and adding a bit, since I'm pretty sure I've gained weight since then.

I joined spark after hearing of my friend, Liz Staley's success with it, and am loving it so far. Being here makes me feel empowered, and makes me feel like this will be the change I need to help change my life.

I'm starting off at a place where I get no exercise whatsoever and eat mainly junk I can buy for cheap at work. I hope to slowly change both these things. I don't have photos of myself, but will update with that soon.

My Goals:
Daily Goals:
-Track calories eaten
-Do 15 minutes of exercise while watching TV
-Give myself a 5-minute mental pep talk

Intermittent goals:
Fit into my "sexy jeans"

Lose 50 pounds 12/20/10, my birthday!

I also need to lose inches off my hips, and have set a goal of three inches off the hips by April 25th!

Overall goals:
Lose 200 pounds off my frame!

My Program:
BELIEVE IN MYSELF!

Water, water, water!

Park further away from work in the parking lot. (I wish I could walk to work, but it's 30 minutes by car lol.)

Get outside at least once a day, with only an intention of enjoying the awesome summer ahead.

Personal Information:
I'm a 26 year old mother of one, currently going to school online to become a psychologist. Humor is a huge part of my daily life; if I don't giggle every once in a while, that just leaves more opportunities to cry.
