Desperately seeking Size 12

This year started out really tough, but after spending Early 2010 in & out of the hospital with my dad and Summer 2010 living at my in-laws for work, I'm back! I've landed my dream job, I'm back at my house on the River with my husband & dogs, now I just need the return of that Elusive Size 12! It's evaded me for the last time!

I'm finding that I am just not comfortable in my current size. It's pretty commonplace for women to rarely be emotionally comfortable with their weight, ...

It's pretty commonplace for women to rarely be emotionally comfortable with their weight, but I am not suffering physical discomfort. I used to be an athlete & now I'm just an ASSlete!

The time has come for me to take back control. I am young & strong & have the ability to control my body. Thinking about my dad being in that hospital, having let his body take over is a reminder that I never want to be in that place.

I will control my body! I will celebrate my health, but utilizing it.

My Goals:
At 5'9"+, I'm not looking to be rail skinny. But I am hoping to be a very content size 10.
I'm also looking to increase my overall energy level by increasing my daily physical activity. It would also be nice if I could make it through an hour tennis lesson without sucking wind. I'm also hoping to run more again - 5K completed, 10k, 15k & half to go!

My Program:
Running, jogging, walking the dogs. Weights & strength training at home. Biking. Jumping rope. Maybe some tennis with the hubby or an adult clinic.

Personal Information:
Dana, Tampa, 32, married, commercial real estate leasing agent, owner of 7 yo, male Cane Corso & 5 yo female BoxerXCorso.

Kids? Not yet...

In responce to your interest in humane meat handling:
Visit my Sparkpage and look at my blog. You will find replys to my requests from Publix. They are amazingly cooperative and they do carry Humane raised products. They have a whole line of meats, eggs, milk and other stuff that is under the Greenwise label. You will see a picture of their label and policy in my blog. I think its a great idea for you to write to them anyway because the more feedback they get the better they will become. Good luck on your fitness program and congrats on going humane!!!

Personally I am a vegetarian for humane reasons but I try not to be a nut about it. I don't think its wrong to eat meat but I do think its wrong to treat the animals cruely. I think the blog entries you will find interesting are from the beginning of Feb for most of the month. (My family eats meat and we buy the Greenwise products)
