I'm fat. I'm trying AGAIN to stop being fat. I've been on SP for a long time and at one point was doing very well with weight loss but I seriously nosedived. To be clear, it wasn't that my "diet failed". I failed by going off it. I keep trying to restart and keep making excuses why I can't continue. Maybe this time I'll nail it.

My Goals:
Weight: 140

Bodyfat: 15%

If that turns out not realistic then I'll change it later.

Also...

No diabetes :)

Reduction in inflammation

No more back weirdness (I hesitate to say back pain, it doesn't always hurt, but it's not a happy camper)

Stronger overall

Better endurance


My Program:
Low-carb, reasonable protein (probably around 1g per pound of lean bodyweight to start), moderate fat since my aim is to burn my bodyfat stores, so I don't see adding lots of extra fat when I'll already not be eating lean unless it helps keep my appetite in check.

I'll be low-carbing but doing my own thing, which I'll explain in my blog as I go.

I need exercise but it's one thing to know it and another to actually do it, and while I think certain kinds of exercise (high-intensity especially) might speed up my fat-burning, I can burn fat without exercise, as I've proven to myself before. I need to move for my *overall health*, especially strength and endurance. So we'll see what that winds up looking like. I'd dive headfirst into CrossFit if I could afford it. I did VERY well in the military on that front when I actually showed up for PT. D'oh!
