I am here for motivation and help getting fit and healthy for my mental health and future. I am 31 and am making healthy habit changes. I have a handsome and sweet son (Monkey) who was born in April of 2012. My beautiful and loving little girl (ladybug) was born December 2014. I am a follower of Christ and have recently learned the power of faith. God has taught me why to be obedient and how my health is that obedience to him. I am a Special Education Teacher. Children, helping other, music and books are my passion. I am recently divorced after a toxic marriage and I am looking to heal through my health both mentally and physically. After my first pregnancy I lost 60 lbs. Then I was blessed with another pregnancy and gained 45 lbs and feel back into some old bad habits (sugar). Since my ladybug was born, I have lost that 45 lbs and am back to my pre-second baby weight. My ultimate goal is how much I weighed when I got married. That is about another 45 lbs away but 30 lbs would make me a healthy weight. ONE STEP at a time. Overall though, this is not about the weight. It is about my health and how I feel. I have been on a weight loss journey for 7 year with up and down weight. I have been on here off and on since 2009 but this time I am approaching everything different and taking one small step at a time because my goal is for this to be permanent.

Week of 7/11/11-
Goal 1- Drink 100 oz of water a day
Goal 2- eat at home (reward an apron!)
Goal 3- begin couch to 5k program 60 running/90 walking for 25 min x3 (reward jewelry box)


My Program:
My new program is changing my habits. I have not been so focused on weight as I have habits. If I build the healthy habits and lifestyle I want to have, then the weight will come off. I am down 20 lbs since August 2013 and down 56 lbs since I had my son in April of 2012. I feel my weightloss and health is an obedience to God. Getting to that belief and mindset has been a journey.

From July 2011
I am starting by just trying to take small steps towards getting healthy. I have tried time and time again at making all the changes at once and it never worked so now I am taking baby steps. I am trying to not focus on the weight loss per say and just knowing that if I change the right habits, I WILL lose weight.

07/5/11 I am currently on Summer break and am going to try and workout as much as possible in the final 3 week and beyond that I have off.
