From June 2012 to May 2013 I lost 110 pounds. Yeah me! However, from then to March 2014 I stalled. Not so good. Some suggest that I settle for the success of my weight loss to date. I say no. I am still obese for my five-foot frame.

I want to be a normal healthy BMI for my height. This means more protein, more vegetables and less carbohydrates. It also means more movement. Ironically enough, my husband loves carbohydrates! So while I won't eat them I will cook them and will do so ...

My Goals:
In March 2014 I want to lose 10 pounds, drink 10 cups water daily, move 20 minutes daily and track food daily.


My Program:
To walk 30 minutes 5/wk.

To drink 64 oz water daily.

To keep within my targeted caloric range.

To get 60 g. protein daily.

To track all food and beverages

Personal Information:
I like to try new recipes. I have a tight food budget for 2014. Due to the surgery, I have a tight calorie budget which means I need to exercise more. I'm concerned about the environment and sustainability, but I'm not certain as to how I see myself fitting into this area at this juncture. One thing at a time...

Other Information:
As an amateur photographer and traveler, I like to make digital scrapbooks. I recently purchased a fancy blender but haven't mastered it yet. I really enjoy my crock pot and food processor. I don't like my vacuum cleaner; I guess I don't know it very well. I have a weakness for shiny things that come from mines in the Earth.
