Hi there! I'm Danielle- a now 30-year-old living in Green Bay, WI. Over the past several years my life has changed quite a bit- ive become an adult (oh boy), ran a half marathon, gotten comfortable with the love of my life, gotten ENGAGED and begun planning a wedding for March 5, 2016! Ive gained 35 lbs in the past year and a half and boy can i feel it, so now I want to kick my life into gear and prepare to move into marriage with a healthy mind and body.

I read about this site in a People magazine article about people being half their original size. That's my goal.

I started my journey at 300lbs and after one full year I lost 92.5. Now I am living with my wonderful man, Josh and we're growing together in our health journeys to become the people we want to share the rest of our lives with! *UPDATE- He proposed 6/3/14! We're gonna get married ahh!


I love to run, so that's what I've been doing!

Here's my story:

I went to my annual appointment, and weighed in at 300 lbs. Holy ****! I had gained 25 pounds since the year before, which was partially due to my termination with cigarettes. (11/19/09)) My best friend and I always joke about being bigger, and I have always had good self-esteem (I got lucky) but she on the other hand wasn't so lucky. I have half my entire boy weight to lose.

When I meet my goal my friend and I will head back to Las Vegas so we can bathe in the sun (confidently), Walk down the strip (without difficulty), fly on a plane (comfortably), and have ourselves am amazing time (happily).

My Goals:
Ultimate goal weight= 150lbs. But really I just want to be comfortable, fit, happy and confident.
I am 5'4" with a large body frame.

I want to keep my life as awesome as it has been. Losing weight helped me find who I am and the life I want to live. It also found me a great man in the process ;)


My Program:
I began Weight Watchers program October 13th, 2010. I am sticking to the Lifestyle Change motto. I use SparkPeople as my main motivator- i could not have come this far without it. I tried logging calories with MFP, but its simply not working for me. My willpower went away for a while and got lost coming home. So im trying ths PP system to hopefully get some willpower, ambition and RESULTS!

I have to work with my fitness plan a little bit. I ran a half marathon last may (2013) and since taking a break after that, running has been difficult. My hip has become really touchy and hurts for a few days if I dont build up my running stamina over a few weeks. So im going to try getting overall fit and give running a try again when i feel comfortable. That's really where I found my motivation and excitement with being healthy. I felt accomplished.

Hi hi! Im Danielle! I'm 30, from Green Bay, WI. My job is a corporate one where I mostly sit or run around talking to people.

I actually like going to the gym! My gym is cheap, has lots of machines, classes and cool people. My favorite workout is running- I love the feeling I get after accomplishing a great run.


I like to go out, go to movies, discover new music and read. The normal 20-something hobbies! Though I am now 30... ugh!!
