Someone who wants something will find a way. Someone who doesn't will find an excuse.
Welcome to my Sparkpage! My name is Dara and I'm a personal trainer and an actress. I've been active all my life, but have never reached my ideal body. Welcome to my Sparkpage! My name is Dara and I'm a personal trainer and an actress. I've been active all my life, but have never reached my ideal body. I was almost there when, in June of 2009, I was involved in an accident on a city bus (one bus rearended the bus I was on) and I ended up with a concussion, whiplash, and backstrain. As a result of my injuries I was unable to work out for over 10 months and also developed prolonged insomnia due to the concussion. This lead to a depression and my doctor put me on a medication that helped, but caused me to gain 30 lbs. I started to focus on losing the weight and gaining my strength back in August 2010. It has been a rough journey, with injuries flaring up and getting in the way. Little by little, I've been making my way. I've started to see this as an opportunity. Now, as a trainer I will be more able to relate to my clients and they will know that I don't just talk the talk. I have been there and I truly know how to make lasting changes. This is my list of things I want out of my life. It's in no particular order and it's always being added to! 1. I want to be healthy and fit. 2. I want to be a successful actress. 3. I want to be a fitness model. 4. I want to travel the world. 5. I want to have children with my loving husband and be a healthy example. 6. I want to be able to do a pull up (or 2 or 3). DONE! MARCH 27TH 2011! 7. I want to be able to afford nice clothes and shoes! 8. I want to be a role model and an inspiration to those around me. 9. I want to have a successful home personal training business. 10. I want to be known as someone who never gives up! It all starts here!

Other Information:
People often say that motivation doesn't last. Well, neither does bathing -- that's why we recommend it daily. Nothing worth doing is ever easy. Opportunity is missed by most people because it's dressed in overalls and looks like work. Insanity: Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Everytime you say 'Eff it, I don't care' and eat that bag of cookies or chips, there's a 100% chance you'll care later. fatfriendnomore Many of life's failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.
