Promise

I want not only to lose myself, but motivate my husband to lose as
well, for health reasons. Weight has been an ongoing battle all my
life, but has gotten worse with the Arthritis. Hard to do stuff when it hurts, however, dying prematurely is a big motivator.
*NOTE*
The 48 pounds I have lost since Sept.3, David has lost 36 trying
to help/support me.
I feel so much better...............

Hi Darlene, that's for your comment on my blog about Amy's thai soup. It is delicious. I am with you about my too tired to cook nights. That's when I ask my husband, Jim, to do the cooking....even if it's just to heat up a can of Amy's thai soup.

Actually, Jim did almost all the cooking for almost 9 months while I was going through chemo. He's gotten to be a much better cook because of that. I am very grateful that he did all that. We are lucky to have husband's that will do stuff like that for us.

Hugs,
Kay

Darlene, drama and suspense is what makes us tick. I personally think we should complete the payments of the 2010 Maybe the first of the year like April when you can get it out. Cannot drive through the winter at least most winters here.

Hey! It's your almost twin, Darlene. I am so clever. I locked myself out of Sparkpeople. I couldn't remember my sign in cuz it's been alooong time since I signed out. So here I am! A new school year has started. Only one kiddo not shown up yet, needs a little medical tune up first! Enjoy the long weekend!

Many thanks Darlene for taking the time to read and comment on my blog 'A morning hike on my doorstep'! My parents are and always were people who are scared by everything. So I grew up being an easily afraid person, and would never have considered going on hikes by myself! But now I realize that life is too short to not do what I like because I am afraid... at last, I am free from their fears. I guess I have grown up. :)

Also, in terms of statistics, I am much more at risk of something happening to me by driving to work or to the supermarket than going on a hike! Cars are dangerous places to be in, when the countryside paths, at least in my country, aren't. In 3.5 years of hiking, I have never been scared of anything nor anybody... Sorry, that was a llllong answer to your question!
Enjoy your weekend! emoticon emoticon
