From Fat Blob to Hot Mom...

1/27/15 -New Intro:

I've been on this journey for over 3 years. It all started when I found out I was pregnant with my first child. Obviously while I was pregnant I couldn't start exercising but I did watch my food intake. My highest weight before pregnancy was 251lbs. I use that as my starting weight because my pregnancy had nothing to do with how heavy I already was to begin with.

Obviously while I was pregnant I couldn't start exercising but I did watch my food intake. My highest weight before pregnancy was 251lbs. I use that as my starting weight because my pregnancy had nothing to do with how heavy I already was to begin with.

Once I had my son, I began slowly walking 5 days a week and kept eating better. After a couple of months I had lost about 20-25lbs. I was VERY excited but was starting to lose traction so I decided to join SparkPeople for accountability. What I didn't realize was how much I NEEDED SP! The support here is amazing! With the help of SP I was able to get to my lowest (so far) weight as an adult! 178lbs!!! I was over the MOON!

THEN...

I got pregnant again. And gained almost ALL of my weight back :( Oops...

So here I am! Half way through this journey (AGAIN!) to my ULTIMATE goal weight! I WILL reach my goal this year and I can't wait!

I'm going to start posting my weight on the side of my page for extra accountability. I hope I can inspire as many as possible! Being healthy is so totally worth all the hard work!!!

Oooh! I love your combos!!! Those are some great videos. Les Mills is a top one for me now. I love doing it!

As for running, I've always loved doing it. It is fun and I will very likely head back out for bonus workouts when it is warming up. Maybe put the family on bikes so I can run!

Thank you for the blog comment! I couldn't do a run program, it is WAY too cold for me outside, and I just don't love running on a treadmill. Although I don't have one, so I don't know, if I did, maybe I would use it a LOT! DVD's are so fun. I love that I can do something different every day. Which ones will you be doing?

Thanks so much for the blog comment and for letting me know you were thinking of me and my calendar!!! Seriously, thinking of people like you who are "watching" me is so motivating to KEEP GOING and not give up! I'm still logging it every day. It's so simple and I'm actually starting to look forward to writing on it because I can't wait to have another accomplishment filling up the squares. And I lost another pound! 2 now so far since Dec. 1!!! Hope to God I don't get derailed with all the upcoming holiday parties. I already have neighbors bringing me Christmas cookies!! EEK! :)
