Thanks for the nice comments on the blog about our camping trip, Dawn. I do need to get out more to these old "haunts" of mine. Although some of the memories might still be a little sad, it's also very therapeutic (in more ways than one). Thanks again.
"Many things are simply not going to happen with just one, or three, or even a dozen attempts. Yet anything becomes possible with enough persistence. Keep going, and allow your efforts to build upon one another. Keep going, and transform the disappointments into achievements. You have what it takes to keep going, because all it ever takes is just one more step forward. Keep going, and work your way steadily to the richest rewards you can imagine." -- Ralph Marston
Hope your week is going great, Spark friend! Keep taking those steps towards your goals. Never give up! As long as you keep going, you will succeed. You are always worth your best effort! Hugs, Pixie
Dawn, sorry I haven't responded earlier, but my wife passed away last week. I know you just went through this recently with your mom - it definitely isn't easy - I miss her so much. See my last blog for a tribute to my wife.
Dawn, good to hear from you again. The news isn't good here. Since Jackie got home from the hospital, her blood pressure is staying in the 40s (37/23 one day), she is in constant pain, and won't hardly eat or drink anything. We also got a call from the dialysis clinic on Friday saying that her infection may not be fully resolved. At this point, she is about ready to call Hospice in. Although I've tried to talk her out of it in the past, I will talk to her doctor tomorrow as she is in constant pain.
I wish the news were better. I definitely appreciate the thoughts and prayers. I hope everything is going well with you.
