DCT9000

Everyone might ask what is DCT900. Many moons ago I served in the US Army and DCT9000 was a piece of communication gear that I worked with.
So with that question answered, what's going on now. I am retired and since retirement have gained a whole lot of weight (60 lbs in 10 years). After web crawling found SparkPeople.

MY 2011 GOALS:
Jan - complete 28 day boot camp.

My Program:
I am watching not only what I eat but also how much. Smaller portions and ALOT more veggies.

5 times a week strength and 7 days a week cardio.

Personal Information:
Born in Louisiana, moved to Florida after retirement. Married to a wonderful husband. 1 loving daughter and a granddaughter and grandson in South Carolina. Two pet cockatiels (that runs the house).

Other Information:
I am now a AHA CPR instructor at a local hospital. Love to quilt and sew my husband's work shirts. Enjoy swimming and digital scrap booking.

Thanks for the comment on my page, I am now 2 lbs away from the next goal of 50 lbs gone. I swimming at an indoor public pool 2 x a week, 3 x if I can fit into my schedule. But our weather is finally getting nice enough to go biking. They finally have finished a bike trail that starts 4 blocks from my house and goes 6 miles one way. I try to get out on the bike at least a couple times a week. Keep on the journey and things will start to fall into place.

That is fantastic news do you swim laps at the pool or some sort of water exercise. I can't swim however from next week I am going to my daughter in-laws' pool and I am going to use a kick board and flippers to do some laps.

hi, I just read about your allergies. What a pain they can be. Where I live I suffer from hayfever in September and also March. So I can really understand what you are going through. I hope your medication works very quickly and that you start to enjoy your spring weather.
