I signed up again for another 5% weight loss challenge starting April 8. The challenge runs for 8 weeks. I find this challenge helps me get back on track and keeps from gaining all my weight back. I have been a Spirited Underdog for most of the challenges. I live in Washington State. I have struggled with weight my whole life. More than once I''ve had to lose 30 pounds. It just kinda creeps up on ya uh? My family includes my husband, 2 Moluccan cockatoos (more trouble than my children were) and a Pomchi . I have 3 daughters, 2 live in the Seattle WA. area and Silverdale. My Youngest daughter lives here in Port Angeles. and she gave birth 13 months ago to a beautiful baby girl 2/20/16. I babysit her a couple days a week and am thrilled to do so. I have 4 other grandchildren, ages 23, 18, 6 and 4. My biggest wish was to live closer to my children and grandchildren. My wish came true, but it was hard won. On Oct 18, 2013 we had a house fire in our home in Lake Havasu, AZ. It took nine months of misery, rental moves, and insurance adjustments but we moved into OUR home in Port Angeles, WA 7-18-2014. Here''s to us ALL "positively" losing and keeping our weight off!!

Part of the good feeling after working out is not having to feel guilty for not working out. emoticon

This morning Ray's mind must have been better (less getting up through the night) and he didn't want to wake me. So he pretty much sat up in his chair and watched and waited for me to awaken.

Learned something valuable! If he sits up a few minutes, he has no trouble getting up! His balance can come back while in a sitting position since the 'crystal' is in his ear, it goes by his head position. (if I'm explaining it wrong, I know you will still understand.)

Your mother being the same age, the info is still valuable! I can't tell you how often I have seen people sit on the edge of their beds a minute before trying to rise. Maybe it is instinctual?

Huggers, and heading for yet another blessed day,
    linda
