thanks for your comment on my blog. I can actually do all cardio as long as it doesn't hurt while doing it. But with high impact like running I need to be careful. My personal problem on the treadmill is that I want to do too much and can cause some damage there.

I do use the elliptical & the stationary bike a lot. Today I had a Saturday off for once, so I walked to the club and had my breakfast there. That way I controlled the distance I was going, was not tempted to extend and broke the walk into 2 bits. I came back feeling good. Need to find more tricks like that.

Either the vinegar & baking soda is helping or the meds are kicking in or both, am feeling much better than 2 days ago. The rest also helped I am sure

Hi Debby,

Thankfully no plunging into water here on the east coast of the US (Delaware) -- at least not for us runners. The next day is a HUGE Polar Bear Plunge that benefits Special Olympics where crazy people do go running into the ocean (which has a current temp of 39F!). Our run also benefits Special Olympics.

And in spite of the chilly temps on Saturday (20's), I do plan to have a good time and run a good race!

Patrick
