Deb

I am here to recharge myself again with my running, my healthy eating and just hope to make a few new friends along the way.

I ran a marathon 2 1/2 years ago and it was the most wonderful and life changing thing I have ever done. I didn't finish how I wanted, so I am hoping to change that and possibly this year.

I have much to do and change in my habits to get ready for that. Starting with my daily exercise. And my mantra is "I will not give up".

Hey! Hope your weather is looking up - cheers us all when the sun shines! Glorious today again - tho apparently we're due a 'toxic cloud' tomorrow - should be fun!
Laid low with a stomach bug today - up all night with all the usual problems - VERY annoying! Must be better tonight as a group of us are going to the first event we've booked in the May Brighton Festival - completely mad event at a completely mad cafe here - VERY Brighton. I'm the 'lift' tonight so have to be fit! Will try and post details tomorrow though you won't believe it.I never do even when I'm there!
Glad you're back in the swing - and that your pain is possibly subsiding. DO hope so. Since you mentioned the problem I seem to see it mentioned everywhere and had never heard of it before. Sounds extremely hard to bear. Have my fingers crossed for a clear and pain free time for you.
What new challenge are you doing ? Seem to have missed the details. Good luck with it whatever it is.
SO good to have you back and cheering me on - not easy today but was delighted to see your message.
Talk soon - BIG emoticon back to you.

Hope you've had a good time - sluggishness will pass I'm sure. Look forward to hearing about your adventures. it's a 3-day holiday weekend here - dunno about the US - and unfortunately I'm overly busy but hope to talk soon and catch up.

A quick thank you for your message, Debra. Your support is invaluable in this situation - none of it is easy, of course, especially keeping the grands on an even keel, so kind and positive thoughts mean a lot. Your holiday sounds like it will be wonderful - enjoy every moment! Have my fingers crossed that your health problems won't interfere. BIG emoticon my dear and thanks again.
