I am here to recharge myself again with my running, my healthy eating and just hope to make a few new friends along the way.

I ran a marathon 2 1/2 years ago and it was the most wonderful and life changing thing I have ever done. I didn't finish how I wanted, so I am hoping to change that and possibly this year.

I have much to do and change in my habits to get ready for that. Starting with my daily exercise. And my mantra is "I will not give up".

My Goals:
Setting small goals this year.

Goal 1: Lose 15 pounds by the end of the year.

Goal 2: Run Hartford Marathon in October again

My Program:
Cardio: Running 5 times a week making increases to meet goals to run a marathon.

Eating: Min 8 glasses of water a day, making sure I have minimum of 5 servings of fruit and veggies a day.

Personal Information:
Happily married for 35 years.

Three fabulous kids, 28, 25 & 20.

Love gardening and crocheting.

Thank you so much for your very supportive comment on my blog - you endlessly find encouragement for me and I'm really grateful. This week is going to be tough, frankly, but I'll get through it and plough on when it's over. You're right when you say we have incentive through not letting each other down - Spark support - and especially yours - is keeping me going and making me try harder right now.

LOVE all your new photos - and your upbeat status today - keep at it - know it's tough on the weight front but there are other advantages that we both feel rather than see. Feeling healthy and more energised - hope you are too.
