40 and Fighting for it

I am entering what will probably be the closest I come to a midlife crisis - no sport car, no affair, no breakdown; just a desire to undo as much damage as I have done to myself over the last 25 years as possible and come out healthier, happier, hotter - and it's going to be hard but worth it.

My Program:
Is a work in progress -

first reduce fat/carb intake but increase calories per day as apparently I have been permanently in "starvation mode". second increase exercise - which is a balancing act as I have chronic fatigue / fibromyalgia

Personal Information:
As for the personal info - I'm going to be a bit vague here I guess - I'm from sunny Tauranga in NZ. Like everyone life is up and down but I am trying to focus on the positives and taking control of what I can and letting go of the rest.

Other Information:
I USED TO SMILE EVEN WHEN I WAS DYING INSIDE AND NOBODY NOTICED, THE GOOD THING ABOUT PEOPLE THAT LOVE YOU IS EVEN WHEN YOU ARE SMILING THEY SEE THE DIFFERENCE

Yes, those mojos can be tricky, especially if you turn your attention aside for a little while. My mojo is here now, thank goodness, and we are just getting reacquainted. Like you I just kept plodding along, making small improvements, sticking with the parts of the programme I could manage, and we have finally met up with each other.
A gal can't get along for long without her mojo.

thanks for commenting on my blog love.when food is served on a side plate it looks as you are eating more than if you served the same amount on a normaol plate as there is less plate showing.we started eating off side plates about 3 yars ago.it wotks for us.i think it is important that all my kids learn to cook especially zakariya though because of all his allergies so later when he is hopefully in university(i can dream canīt i)that he can cook his own meals and doesnīt have to worry about i there is something in it he shouldnīt have.how are things your end now?how is your daughter?what was the test results. emoticon

Hi, hope you are doing better than Monday morning. I liked seeing your comment on my Activity feed. Yeah, I had to "work" for my exercise today, as it was raining cats and dogs, so my dog and I couldn't take our usual early morning 3-5-mile walk. As part of the Fall 5% Challenge I get 120 fitness minutes a day.
