I have been getting complacent. My weight had remained stable for a long time, and my doctor told me to ignore the BMI (which says I'm obese) and just keep on doing what I'm doing. So I did, and didn't even bother to weigh myself, but now I see I have been gaining weight. The Spark counselor told me to get off the flexible Food Tracker (the one that increases the calorie range depending on the amount of exercise you get) and go on the original Tracker and limit myself to 1500 calories/day.

I am exercising six days a week and tracking my food, and consistently eating below the low range of the Tracker. However, it was explained to me that I walk so much that my body has become very efficient with this amount of exercise, that I am in reality not burning up too many calories. So...limit 1500/day.

My lab reports are consistently good. I have a lot of energy--seldom feel tired so I'm not in that bad of a shape. I just do not want this weight gain to get out of hand.

Thanks for your suggestion for using the E6000 for repairing my Fitbit (which I affectionately refer to as my Misfit) . . . I have glued it several times . . . the last time my hubby used JBWeld . . . but it keeps breaking in different places.

I've lost it 3 times already so I just gave up repairing it. . . . thus the metal holder. kinda fun.

    Big hugs . . . let's keep at it!

Yeah, I need to start staying at the lower end of my calorie range now, if I want to keep losing! So, looking at what to do now. Always a challenge!
Gluten free takes awhile to see changes and if you are intolerant like I found out I was, I saw a big difference in how I felt in about a month or two. Experts say it takes sometimes a year to correct the damage of a leaky gut caused by eating gluten and some other foods we may be not tolerating. Anyway, some people may be ok and not need to go GF.
Have a good Tuesday! emoticon emoticon emoticon
