Getting it off for good

Hi, I am mid 40s, trying to get this weight off again but for good this time. I am a substitute teacher, mother of two teenage girls, have a wonderful husband, two dogs, and live in Georgia.

My Goals:
Looking to get healthier, not just lose weight. Blood pressure is good but cholesterol is right at 200 for the first time ever. Want to lose at least 30 pounds, maybe closer to 50.

My Program:
Walk the dogs for 20 minutes then do 20-30 minutes on the treadmill and 20 minutes of strength training. Watching portions and snacking.

School starts back this week so I have to figure out how my healthy habits and time for exercise will play into this schedule.
