I am a woman in the middle of her life who is tired of being tired! I deserve more than just a behind the scenes, mediocre life. If I want more, I have to go out there and grab more. No one on this earth can do this for me, I have to do it for myself. Everyday that I wake up is another day I have the chance to change my life and get everything out of it that I can. So begins the journey, with one step and one day at a time.

My Goals:
To become more active, live a healthy and happy lifesyle, and feel better! I also want to be able to wear my wedding ring again.


Weigh 240 by 6/15/14



I want to inspire others who struggle with obesity and health issues to become a better version of themselves.


My Program:
Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day.

Cardio at least 20 minutes five days per week.

Strength training 3 times a week.

Walk 10,000 steps a day

Cook smarter and eat healtheir foods.

Pack my lunch for work instead of eating out.



Personal Information:
I turned 44 years old this past June 15th. I've struggled with weight most of my life. However, in 2001, I was able to lose just over 100 pounds and kept it off for over 2 years. Then I met my husband, the hater of veggies and all things healthy. My eating habits deteriorated, and my going out dancing 3 nights a week ended. It didn't take long for the weight to creep back, and now I find myself at the heaviest I've ever been! My beautiful daughter is my inspiration to change. I imagine her marrying someday, and I don't want to be the fat Mom at the wedding, or be the Grandma that can't play with her future grandkids because she's too out of shape!


Other Information:
I love my dogs!!!

Also being outdoors, fishing, hiking, boating, and gardening.

    Hey lady!!! I just wanted to say thanks for posting on my page and checking up on me. For quite a while, I had been letting myself slip. I had a great attitude on Monday and Tuesday this week. I was eating healthy and exercising. Yesterday, I did great with my eating, but worked some extra and didn't get my workout in. Unfortunately, I'm one of those people that feels like quitting if things aren't perfect. I've been working on that, and I know that it's all the small changes that keep you on track. If something happens, you just get back up and keep going, but sometimes that's easier said than done. Seeing your message this morning made me smile and gave me some motivation for today. THANKS!!! Hope you're doing well. Have a wonderful day!
