The water pic is that of a place I LOVE to go !! It's only about 25 mins away LOL unless its SUMMAH because as you can see its a pier which is a tiny bit of Old Orchard Beach in Maine. In the summah it's WILD and to get down to the pier and sadly WE LOVE to go there,,,,, it's 45 mins or MORAH !! We also LOVE to vacation there. In general I try my BEST to go a week or so before Memorial day or aftah Labah day. I DID take this picture, so if you'd to borrow it,, GO AHEAD !!

I weighed 115 to 120 most of my life ,,, well into my early 40s. At 32 I had been in a car accident, which changed my life. There are ways of looking at things. At first all I saw was the "BAD" of it,,, and though I'd MUCH RATHER OF NOT gone thru it,,,, you can find "GOOD" in even the worse, if you look for it. For me, I cared about people, but I now I have compassion I didn't.

Upon starting this journey I weighed 288 ! YO !! Thats OVER TWO TIMES Of my "used to be" weight. I am currently down by 100 PLUS LBS !!

If one is new or struggling or on a plateau or even gaining (been there QUITE A BIT !) our MOST Important step is to TRACK EVERY BITE !! TRACK !! TRACK !! TRACK

Once we start to track again (or for the 1st time) to stay in range (Ask your Dr plz). I STRONGLY DISAGREE in that we need to STOP eating the foods we like, but that's MY PERSONAL belief. For I KNOW if I do even try I FLOP Each time !! However if you don't have control over that sweet tooth,,,,, I'd wait for quite some time.

My Goals:
Until the summah 5% Challenge restarts:
**** Stay in calorie range of 1350 to 1500 (YEAH Up 50 cals due to more exercise)
**** Exercise of 60 to 90 mins daily and at times 120.
**** 30 to 60 mins a day of walking. Broken up to 2 or 3 times
**** 30 to 60 mins a day of yoga. I am at that "in between spot" of where the beginners is now very easy
for me so am progressing to harder moves.
**** During the break of 4 to 6 weeks I am going to do ALL I can to lose another 2 to 4 lbs. I have slowed down to regroup myself and adjust to where it is I am at. ONCE the Summah challenge starts again,,, I AM GOING FOR THAT 5% GOAL !!

My Program:

*As we lose weight it can be EASIER To REGAIN IT !! So I need to prevent this by:
**** Continue to work through current stressors (others who will NOT take of themselves in real life.
**** Continue to work on more alternate things to do to help instead of emotional eating. THIS WORKS !
**** Walk and I since I live right on the harbah it's GORGEOUS !! I WANT by the END of the SUMMAH to walk the 2 miles TO BUG LIGHT AND BACK !!
**** Add in the following:
**** Draw/paint some of the MANY projects I've half started.

Personal Information:
I am going to be a GREAT GRANDMA in July !!! Awwww he's growing so well in my GD and too sweet !! Oh I am in my 50s,, my "GD" is a friends D. My friend had her late in life and due to a very tragic situation my friend was not coping well. Her D of course needed someone to be there as someone to talk to, love her etc, and so I stepped in. MANY HAPPY times were had as she grew up. LOVOUS That kid ! I also have a GS who's thankfully living back in Maine ! PHEW !! SLOWLY the BIRDIES come back home !

Other Information:
I am clearly OWNED by Izzy who is 6 yrs old. Such a little LOVE BUG !! At night there are times she graces me with her presence at night,,, I fall asleep right off.

I talk to Maryanngi nightly and awww Izzy LOVES MaryAnn !! Often the MOMENT she hears her voice she comes on out,,,climbs right up and snuggles on in as we talk. Maryanngi (MaryAnn) is the CL on the Spirited Under Dogs (AKA Dawggies). The CL is supposed to be "Challenge Leader" hmmmm I MIGHT SAY SHe's A "CHALLENGE ALL RIGHT !" HAHAHAHA RUNNING cause she can MOVE FASTAH than I can !! Of course for her to catch me she has to come down here !! We are hoping she'll be able in Sept.

    Thanks for the message! Well as of right now I'm really enthused about my lifestyle and I'm finding more enjoyable than challenging. I feel like a detective at the grocery store, sorting through the nutritional charts before adding to my wagon, and today as my DH and 2 DD ate a piece of afternoon cake, I sat at the table spooning directly out of the cottage cheese container. (There wasn't much left and had to get eaten up), and I really enjoyed my cottage cheese! If this feeling changes I plan on asking for help from my team as well as surfing SP for motivation and information. I just looked at some pics from 2007....oh my gosh I just let myself go. That's motivation in itself!

    We're revamping a few things too. Most of my pages are up. Just need to write 2 that are being changed. Need a good day of creative energy. Nice we got an extra week. I can breathe instead of being panicked.

    Oh, well there is a limit where it's more economical to get a new one than pour $'s into repair when it may not last long anyway. Still impressed you gave repair a shot.

    By the way, averaging by number of participants, you edged us out in exercise last week, but Clovers aced the LTGL! :) (must not have been enough wind to help us move but we stayed focused!)
