The FALL 5% Challenge starts on the 24 of September !! I am SOOO EXCITED for I WILL hit ONEDERLAND !! It's the 7th right now so I have 2 more weeks of being on the break. Many teams stay active on the break including ours "The Spirited Under Dogs" AKA Dawggies. I am hoovering at the 205 mark. At my highest I was 288 in a size 3X,, should of been in a 4X. Now I am a large. HOWEVER sizes were changed a few years ago because Americans are now bigger. Guess that's so "we don't feel bad." Well yeah that DOES make me feel that saying "I am in a large" is a LIE.

I have quite a few physical conditions which often make exercise difficult, but I FIGHT to do ALL I can when I can. Even when restricted to bed/recliner, I CAN still work on my arms.

If you struggle with emotional eating, please know this HAS to be addressed ! That's the UP and DOWN I've been fighting against during this time. UP until January this year. Sparks has a LOT on emotional eating,,,, search the articles, read the blogs, talk to your friends such as doing a blog(S) and ask around for advice.

I learned to do OTHER things instead of eating. Keeping my hands busy is what it all boils down to. Also asking "Am I willing to eat an apple?" If the answer is YES than I KNOW I am really hungry,, that's OK !! But, if the answer is "I think there's some ice cream (Your favorite junk food here)" than your most likely having a CRAVING ! Please get busy for at least 15 mins, if after that time you ARE Hungry, grab something low calorie.

I have many health issues, 24 surgeries on ,, 21 on feet. I do NOT allow the pain to stop me from being active. Actually as with so many others, moving HELPS the pain !! I have learned to do easy yoga (Beginner yoga on youtube.com) which EASILY takes my neck, back , legs, hips from an 8 on the pain scale (of 1 to 10 ,, 10 being the worse pain ever possible,,,,,, legs suddenly amputated such as in a car accident before you get medical treatment) I am OFTEN at an 8, but doing the exercises (Also ask Dr FIRST and for advice !) takes me EASILY down to a 2 ! IT WORKS !!!!!

TY for looking on in ! On the Dawggie team I am the ML,, Motivational Leader. This is the BEST Team I've been on here !!! WOOOHOOOO !! If you LOVE to compete (doesn't matter how much you can exercise,, though YES we ARE competitive again the other teams) ASK me please about this team ! YOU CAN ALSO lose 5% of your weight in just 8 weeks, if you are willing to do the work. First hint,, TRACK ALL the food you eat !

My Goals:
To hit ONEDERLAND within the next 5,, maybe 6 weeks !! DEFINITELY during the FALL CHALLENGE 11 To make my 5% I need to lose 10 lbs,, and YES I WANT THAT ! It'll be harder with recovering from a surgery on foot.

The MOMENT I am approved to start to exercise from the surgery, I WILL !!!! I HATE not moving around !

My Program:
To stay in calorie range as said. To do my best to have my protein level at 70gm as my dietitian has me doing for a good recovery.

To do 60 to 90 minutes of exercise daily. On Sunday maybe less, but than again our team wants to "Land the plane" (I am on the 5% challenge. There are 12 teams who work to see which team can "land the plane." On Saturday at 12:00 AM we take off. For each minute a member exercises it moves our plane (each team has their own plane) one mile. Exercise 20 mins, 20 miles, Exercise 50 mins , moves 50 miles etc. So I can always relax on a different day AFTAH we land.

Personal Information:
I am a very stubborn person so when it comes to making a goal,, I PLAN ON SEEING IT THROUGH !! I am a very kind person so please don't allow that word "STUBBORN" bother you its only to improve myself or reach a goal I've set that is REASONABLE.

I am OWNED by Izzy Ma Gizzy as MaryAnnGi) calls her,, she's a brown tiger kitty cat who had belonged to some SPARKS Pet groups, but yeah she's DROPPED most of the weight and I WANT both my tablet (of which she is TRAINED to know when she hears the BEEP of it turning on to COME so she can play the Mousey game. The mice run across the screen she goes BERZERK to catch them !!


Other Information:
On October 12th I have surgery for my big toe, left foot to be removed. I am HOPING I can QUICKLY be allowed to exercise. At first as I recover using my knee walker. SAFETY IS ALWAYS A MUST and also a PRIORITY !!

I know walking will be more difficult, but NOT impossible !! I will have an artificial one put into my shoe. Oh these shoes are CERTAINLY Ugly. If you are young and healthy there's NO WAY you'd wear them. Hey I WOULDN'T OF !! For us older ones remember PLATFORM shoes? I LOVED THEM ! Had a pair that was 5"s tall !! WOOHOOO !! Younger ones,,, ENJOY What you can, WHILE you can. If you have read this far, PLEASE notify me ! It's FUN to see who really your WHOLE page.

    Hey Leaders! On my spark start page it shows the teams I have added for Spark points. I seriously need to delete some of them, as they are as old as Methuselah. How do I do that? I clicked on the "edit" button, but nothing shows up on deleting anything. emoticon emoticon

    When I told her how I was feeling before I was placed on the oxygen she said that it sounded an awful like Sleep Apnea, I told her that I do have the CPAP machine and ha stopped using it because I can't get the thing to work right. I did more adjusting last night and it went ok. She told me use it LOL. I will be having a lung test in a month after using the Dulera and albuterol. So far I am doing ok off of the oxygen. I am hoping I will not have to go back it.
