I'm Back and Still on Track!

June 6, 2013 my official RETIREMENT date! I am enjoying retirement immensely and still keep myself as busy as if I were working. Been absent from Sparkpeople for a couple of years and have missed my sparkfriends so very much. I am back stronger than before! My goal is to lose another 40+ pounds and to get off my blood pressure meds. Thusfar I have lost 30 lbs in one year by following a low carb lifestyle which best suits my needs. Almost at 60 yrs old weight loss is slow but doable and for this ...

Hi there. Thanks for the hat and scarf. It's going down to 44 in the am and that is cold for central Fl. I usually don't go out if it's below 50.

Hope all is well with you. Max sends his love. emoticon

Thanks for the flowers, lovely! I am busy getting ready to go out of town tomorrow for the wedding. Will be back on Sunday night. We will have a pet sitter looking after the boys while we are gone.
They are huddled on the bed together now due to the cold weather!
Have a great weekend!

Thanks for commenting on my blog. I am on the treadmill daily and up to 15 minutes now. At least I am on the lowest dose of all the meds, 5 different ones now.
I hope you are doing well! Have a great weekend!

Thanks Diane. I like doing things like that. I used white yarn to tie the bows and made a little loop for the ornament hanger.

Remember back in the 70's when the "kissing balls" were popular? I made one out of glued medicine cups onto the styrofoam ball with glitter and a bell in the bottom of each cup. We thought they were beautiful back then!

Max always wants to help except he was in the other room sleeping when I made the bows. He missed out on the fun. emoticon

You go girl .....jogging on the treadmill. That's great. I'm trying to find a treadmill walking plan that starts out at 1.5 mph rather than 2. That is too fast for my short little legs until I build up strength.
