Thanks for the suggestion on my blog about Sonic. I do actually have a to go container with baked chips, nuts etc. Things I can eat. But, I was in my DHs truck and I didn't plan to be away for lunch. It was a weak moment!
But, I'm doing fine and each time something like that comes up I learn from it.

I am 64 and am setting a first goal of twenty lbs and then will set another after that - I figure I will b more encouraged if I keep my goals within sight! Sue
I was reading a blog I had written back in March after my diagnosis of diabetes 2 . This is what you commented: "Everyone says to avoid processed foods. It's difficult when relying on them is a lifetime habit"
I have been avoiding them for over 110 days now. It can be done. And I am reversing my diabetes 2. I have never felt better in my life than I do now.

I'm also on the over 50's team and we need someone in Leadership capability to please "UN-sticky" our challenge that ended July 4th (yesterday) and make the new challenge a sticky topic. (begins today 7/05) There are already quite a few posting on the new thread and eager to get started. If the old thread remains sticky that would be confusing as some new folks might post on that one in error.
