Okay, so I'm a smart cookie. I have a college degree. I know I've been overweight for most of my adult life (I was size 12 in 7th grade) and my knees hurt! Well they don't hurt as much as they did in Nov. 2009, but it could be better. And I need to be MORE active.

I've regained a lot of my weight and I need to get serious again and I need to track everything I put in my mouth. Hopefully the Fall 5% Challenge will give me the kick I need. After losing 70 lbs I inched up to the 180's where I stayed for 2 years. then in the past 2 years I went back to some bad habits and stopped tracking. Now I am over 200 and have had to buy bigger clothes and it makes me angry. I know better.

My Goals:
I want to be healthier and be able to walk 3-5 miles at a time. I would like to take trips and feel good while sightseeing, maybe to Poland and France where I have open invitations to visit former exchange students.


My Program:
Started with baby steps, I only documented my food intake for the first time a little over 6 years ago. Boy was that enlightening. Since I started tracking I've changed my goal weight three times. (lower of course!)

I've been married for 39 years. I'm a soon to be retired Medical Technologist.
I work full time and have worked in the same job for 38 years. I'm a mother of 2 great young women, grandmother of an incredible 9 year old (Alexis) and a 4 year old redheaded BOY (David). I have been a GS volunteer for about 25 years. I do rubber stamping in my spare time and travel around NYS to do it with friends I met online

Working to get to pre-baby weight and MY BABY is 35! Update 4/24/16
just turned 64 last June.
