'We are like angels with only one wing. We can only fly by embracing one another.'

Hi. I'm Diana from Cambridge, England. I'm a work-from-home Mom of 4 grown 'kids' and a Dyslexia Consultant when I'm wearing my professional hat. I thought I would be more active and eat less when my children left home. Oh, how the reverse has been true!

I'm here to reclaim some of my life and a lot more of my waistline...

ooh - thank you for the soup Goodie - that was JUST what I needed!
I've got an achey back today (I think it's due to some strenuous yoga actually!) and a couple of days off after a hectic week - so I'm just chilling this weekend. (snuggling down with a blanket whilst the hail falls on the roof-windows!)

Thanks for stopping by my SparkPage! It's sad to hear of the base closing, especially if you had fond memories there.

Do you do much baking? I've been watching The Great British Bake Off (I guess season 5, though I hadn't seen it before). I'm intrigued by all the types of biscuits in the second episode. The only biscuits I know about are fluffy buttermilk biscuits (more like a dinner roll). The biscuits they made seemed more like crackers with interesting flavors. I enjoy baking, and the show has made me interested in exploring more about British baking!
