Kicking Mass - I'm a Science Teacher :)

I started back on the right track January 1st. My goal is to lose 25 pounds and then weight train to look like Mr. Gosling (to the left).

As March nears its end I am 5 pounds from my goal.

I have been dedicated and determined. I have not overeaten on calories in 86 days, and have 200+ minutes of cardio every week.

Just stopping by to say hi. Hope you are doing well. I've been away with anniversary celebrations and busy work schedule but I'm keeping up the exercise streak. How is the weight training going? Best wishes!

I have also had a crazy busy schedule lately and yes I've been hungry! When it gets near to meal time I want to eat! I think it is time to shift to a bigger breakfast. I increased my daily calorie intake from 1800 to 2000 these past two weeks and still lost weight which is perfectly ok with me. This week I'm going to try 2100 calories and see what happens. It will be interesting to see at what level my weight will stabilize but I won't mind losing a few more pounds until I get that figured out. 168 is starting to sound nice in my mind as my permanent weight. I'll be eager to hear how your shift to more strength training goes. I'm also interested in thinking about how to build up some more muscle as a way of keeping myself challenged as I shift to maintenance. Thanks for the birthday goodie!

Thanks for the spark goodie. Your encouragement always gives me a boost. We are traveling this weekend to Pennsylvania attend a memorial service for my wife's uncle who died at age 84. her family is a great group of people to be with even in times of sadness. It will be harder to get exericse in and keep calories in check at family meals but I'll do the best I can. I hope you have a great weekend even though you need to work.
