I'm getting older...it's time to get better!

I was thin my whole life. I could eat anything and everything and always weighed 110 lbs...until I turned 35. For some reason, that was the age that my metabolism all but completely stopped and I started gaining weight, along with all the bad stuff that goes with it. Most recently my cholesterol was 219! I decided it's time to make sure I don't get any unhealthier and reverse all of the unhealthy things that have happened since I started gaining weight.

Hi, thanks for your sweet comments on my blogs :)

To answer your question, I think that silks is more difficult than pole. It requires more strength and flexibility to even get started. Also, compared to pole, there aren't that many rest periods in between. I also had to get over the fear of the height of silks. But that's just me. I think it all depends what you've started with. But I think the principles and the muscles used are similar so if you do one, then the other shouldn't be such a big jump.

Both are definitely doable though! I used to think they were crazy and unreachable but they aren't :) If I can do it, anyone can!
