Welcome to the 12 Weeks to Walking Team. It's a very diverse group from all over the world! Some can't walk 100 steps and some are doing 5K Walks. Look over the LINKS with the 3 levels, Best Foot Forward, Beginner and Intermediate and decide where you should begin. Because of your incredible 10 miles a day you're MUCH MORE advanced than this group...so you might want to check out the schedule for Moving Forward! (in the LINKS section!) Print off the schedule in the level you choose and just start walking with us.

Let me give you a brief introduction to some of the more active team members. Sassy aka JACKSGRAN and MADMIRANDA are from the London area. Eliz aka NOWYOUDIDIT lives in Minnesota, has a blog about her life as a saint and is very encouraging. SHAKESALOT posts beautiful photos of her walks from Virginia. Linda (me) is from Montana. IAMAGEMLOVER aka Bonnie is from Connecticut. CANADIANFROG09 aka Ane Marie and HARROWJET aka Judy and DONNELDA22 aka Donna are all 3 from Ontario, Canada. I've got a world map I just hung so I can keep track of all the places in the world we have team members walking!! STEVEN2GO2 occasionally posts from southwest PA. NZJAXX aka Jackie, posts from New Zealand. We'll be waiting to learn all about what you see as you walk along on this journey with us!! We want to hear all about what you see and hear where you walk. We get lots of weather reports and spring flower sightings. Those things are posted in the "Walking with Purpose" thread. Hope you'll join in the geography lesson!

Thanks for the invite. I don't do Facebook. Right now I'm doing a virtual walk of Route 66 which I have driven from LA to Chicago. I think next I'm going virtually hike the Pacific Coast Trail...and maybe next year, take 6 months to really walk it!
