Fighting for confidence

I am a 25 year old female who has been overweight/obese my entire life. I am on a journey to find my confidence to wear what I want and be who I am.

I have created my own 12 week journey that starts December 29th, 2013 and ends March 23rd, 2014. I have weight and measurements for my starting point. I have a do-able weight goal but as the scale is not always reliable I have taken measurements to see my progress as well also pictures. I will report in once weekly on Sunday's with ...

I need Spark to be a safe place but at the moment it is not so I am having to limit my time on here as well as the information I share.

Exercise and healthy foods. Seriously, that's it.

Personal Information:
I am 24yrs old, from BC Canada in a Happy Long term relationship with the man of my dreams. Just as I was starting to really love myself I started to have complications due to the weight (which was fixed with 8lbs...) anyhow. Here I am working towards something that means a lot to me. BALANCE. I do not want to be THIN, I do not want to be SKINNY, I do not want to be FAT, I just want to be HEALTHY.

Yeah you've pretty much got it (paleo) except we're doing what we call paleo plus because hubby just can't eat plain meat, we've d/led a couple of e-books so can try a couple of recipes that are more paleo but he just can't give up potato and rice but we're making good changes, I'm also trying to listen to my body more and talk about being healthy because my 4 yr old has teachers trying to lose weight and last night my 4 yr old said "mum, Abby and I have the biggest tummies at preschool" and abby is a big girl, much bigger than Poppy but somehow Poppy has got the idea that she is too and she's not and that worries me so we're trying to change our language around body obsession as well as our diet. I'm hoping eventually she'll start trying more fruits and vegetables as part of her desire to get healthy 'and skinny' especially now she's seeing her dad eat them.

Hi there, well I've basically been floundering during january, no weight lost, well some lost but regained. Trying to focus in feb but 5 days in still no progress... planning day today!
