It took me about 9 months before !\I could run more than 1/10 of a mile without stopping. Why? because I did not know how to run. Then I came across some podcasts that coached me while running:

Todd Lange is the coach and he is what got me running. I have since ran a couple of half marathons, but I still use these podcasts when training. He chimes in at just the right moment that I often feel like I have him running right beside me. Check it out and maybe that will get you past that 2 mile mark
