Make it happen....at your pace!

Make it happen....at your pace is one of my favorite huddle responses to post. It takes time to lose the weight....it took time to gain it. So make the most of your journey by learning new healthy habits, making time for exercise, and having fun doing it.

I ran my first 5k in November 2010,my first 10k in May 2011, and I am planning to run my first half marathon in March 2012. Yay me!!!!!!! And I am going to keep challenging myself after that (who knows maybe even one marathon). SparkPeople totally rocks!!!!!


I have tried to do this by myself in the past. Well I did not succeed because I did not have a fitness plan nor did I have a nutritional plan in place to make it happen. I am here on Spark people to learn how to eat healthy, exercise, and have fun along the way. And once I reach my goal, I will hang around to keep "sparkin".

I am officially a half marathoner. I am following the Hal Higdon's Intermediate half marathon training schedule:

Monday - ST
Tuesday - 3 mile easy run
Wednesday - speed work
Thursday - 3 mile easy run and ST
Friday - Rest
Saturday - 3 to 5 mile pace run
Sunday - Long runs
