Never Give Up, Never Give In

I'm making a lot of adjustments this year. It is a struggle, but with God's help, I hope to come through stronger than ever.

The subconscious thoughts produce the effect in our lives - what we see and experience. Our reaction to what we experience produces our emotions. Then often we react again by self-sabotage or blame, always being a victim of our own subconscious mind.

The answer is to be aware of what is pulling our strings. SMILE at it all gently and continue on course. When we do not give this dynamic any energy it simply dissipates.

I'm not talking about a cover up, or positive thinking. This is crucial involvement in the process of healing.

Thanks for reading and commenting on my blog. I had heard of it a few months ago, though never really looked into it. The reason I re"found" it was when I decided that I was at a fork in my roads. I have been gaining weight since last summer, all my old habits were returning and I was having a really hard time stopping. I didn't give up, I kept trying all kinds of different things, but nothing was really working for me. I realized that I had gained back too much weight, I was binging more than not and everyday was starting fresh. I knew if I didn't find something soon, I was going to give in and just stop caring. I didn't lose 130 pounds to give up. So, I started searching for ways to curb binging and everything lead me to giving up sugar and carbs. So, I went to my friend who had told me about this before and jumped right in. I bought the book, picked two days from then to start, only to give me more time to shop (the two days before my official start I did the best I could and actually only messed up one thing and had hummus). I am glad that I found it! It has been an amazing turn around for me. I hope you have a great day.
