Hi, I am 32, a mother of 5 ( 3 girls 2 boys not in that order ) I really am taking weight loss serious this time around. I took a semester off of Nursing School and gained an additional 20 pounds just since December. I am looking to lose at least 100 pounds, I am aiming for 110 but if I get to 90 it will be ok too. I cut out sodas and tea 4+ weeks ago. I lived for Dr Pepper, drinking 4-6 cans a day. I also started cutting calories and eating less white/starchy foods.

Haven't walked or rode bike due to some scheduling issues. But I have temporarily replaced it with HIIT... between C25K ...Turbo Jam..and Jillian Michaels 30 day shred. And boy oh boy can I feel it. I know my biggest accomplishments at this point is cutting soda...a whole freaking month. I quit smoking over 10 years ago...pretty much the same way. I only noticed the 1st week due to headaches..then after that...my energy boost came from within ! How about that? Anyhow... I still have to get a scale...but I know I've lost between 2-4 lbs and about as many inches between my arms, waist, and hips. I hated the first day..because I felt foolish, my 2 sons joined me today (12 & 8) and my 12 year old realized how intense it is...And that I am serious. I think once I get the routine and steps down.. I will be able to focus more ..it is easier today then yesterday. . Determination. ..Motivation. ..inspiration. ..and you got it....Perspiration. I've never sweat so much in my life...including labor and delivery haha.

My Goals:
Lose at least 100 lbs...aim for 110 or 120. Goal weight = 145/150 ish. Reward = new clothes & whitewater rafting trip.
Overall I want to set a better example for my children, to have more strength. .more energy. ..less stress in my body, mind,& life. 2-3 lbs a week.

My Program:
No soda or tea. Limited potatoes (white). Turbo Jam..30 minutea, 30 day shred (Jillian Michaels), couch 2 5K ...30 minutes or as needed for level. Cut calories in half ( no more then 1400 most *6/7* days) 8-16oz glasses of lemon water daily. *tip divide your weight in half and drink that amount in water daily...8oz for every 45 minutes of exercise.
