About me: My name is Caro and I'm 24. I've been overweight since I was about 6 years old. I became obese in college and am aiming to get down to a weight that I haven't been since I was in middle school!

My "Ah ha!" moment: I decided to fly to England to visit family in July 2008 and the whole flying experience was terrible. I've been flying since I was 3 and I generally love flying, but this time my weight made me so uncomfortable that I was miserable. I knew that I had gained a lot of weight, but it was only when I came back and weighed myself that it hit me. I was 243 lbs - the most I had ever weighed. I found SP that same day!

My journey so far on SP: I got my act together and lost over 25 lbs between August 2008 and December 2008... and then the weight loss stopped... and then the scale started malfunctioning, er, showed that I was regaining weight. I have regained about 15 pounds over the past 10 months and am now attempting to get back into the losing weight process.

My biggest problems: getting my butt off the couch, chocolate, cravings, chocolate, bread, chocolate, cheese, chocolate, sodium and chocolate. Oh, and chocolate.

My biggest assets: I've always liked fruits, veggies and whole wheat bread, even before I knew they were good for me. I love cooking. I love finding and trying out new recipes. I don't particularly like fatty foods, although there are a few exceptions. I don't eat out frequently (maybe once every month).

I want to be "healthier", but what does "healthier" mean to me?
~I want to be able to walk without being out of breath.

~I want exercise to be a natural part of my daily life.
~I want to have no knee pain (started around 180 lbs)
~I want to be able to walk into any store and find what I'm looking for without having to look in the extended sizes or Women's section.
~I want to go through a day without being scared of what the scale will say at the end of the week.
~I want to be comfortable in my own skin.
~I want to look good naked.
~I want to be rid of/reduce as much as possible all my health issues.

Thanks so much for the turkey! Ours turned out very well, so I think yours gave it some inspiration! We'll be visiting friends this Thursday for another meal, but with shared cooking (plus the shopping is already done) it should be pretty easy.
