I'm a vegetarian who can't cook well. I'm trying to learn how to cook, eat a healthy diet, eat less chocolate and lose weight. I'm here to find cooking ideas. I have been following Eat to Live book by Joel Furhman.

I'm finding out that when I eat mostly fruits and veggies I lose weight (I've lost over 15 pounds) and when I start eating the junk the weight comes back (hey doesn't that makes sense). And here is the best part, I'm never hungry.

I exercise 40 minutes ...

I exercise 40 minutes on my elliptical, and I have been doing P90X three times a week (finished P90X and will start again sometime). I also do some exercise DVDs, lift weights and other exercise. I always need ideas for other exercise ideas.

My Goals:
Losing weight by eating healthy foods. Learning to cook will help.

I have been following the Eat To Live plan.

Eating lots of fruits and veggies and some beans, whole grains, nuts and seeds.

My Program:
Exercise 20 minutes a day on the elliptical and 20-30 minutes with DVD cadio exercises. I also lift weights with exercise DVD's and other exercise.

Personal Information:
I have been teaching kids to play the piano for 20 years. I like playing piano and guitar. I like to listen to rock, movie music, classical and jazz.
Scifi and action adventure movies are my favorite movies to go see.
Reading books is very fun and exiciting. It's takes me away from it all. I like scifi, action adventure and fantasy books the best.

Other Information:
I have been a vegetarian for 20 years. I live in Kansas.

Hi Kim sorry I was gone for a couple of days my heel is really hurting me so I have decided that until my heel heals up no more leg or foot workouts....this week will be a major overhaul on my house need to organize it...its clean but there is way to much clutter in my house.

Hope you don't get sick...I was getting something the other day but its all gone now...thank goodness emoticon

Hi Kim emoticon awesome glad you got the dvds!!! 5 lbs aren't wimpy you can train lots with 5's and feel the burn emoticon emoticon I will have to start on Sunday with 21 day fix as I am finishing this week with Cathe...how long are you going to 21 day fix? 21 days emoticon lol I forgot how long that program is.
