I'm a vegetarian who can't cook well. I'm trying to learn how to cook, eat a healthy diet, eat less chocolate and lose weight. I'm here to find cooking ideas. I have been following Eat to Live book by Joel Furhman.

I'm finding out that when I eat mostly fruits and veggies I lose weight (I've lost over 15 pounds) and when I start eating the junk the weight comes back (hey doesn't that makes sense). And here is the best part, I'm never hungry.

I exercise 40 minutes ...

I exercise 40 minutes on my elliptical, and I have been doing P90X three times a week (finished P90X and will start again sometime). I also do some exercise DVDs, lift weights and other exercise. I always need ideas for other exercise ideas.

My Goals:
Losing weight by eating healthy foods. Learning to cook will help.

I have been following the Eat To Live plan.

Eating lots of fruits and veggies and some beans, whole grains, nuts and seeds.

My Program:
Exercise 40 minutes a day on the elliptical. I also lift weights, do exercise DVD's and other exercise.

Personal Information:
I have been teaching kids to play the piano for 20 years. I like playing piano and guitar. I like to listen to rock, movie music, classical and jazz.
Scifi and action adventure movies are my favorite movies to go see.
Reading books is very fun and exiciting. It's takes me away from it all. I like scifi, action adventure and fantasy books the best.

Other Information:
I have been a vegetarian for 20 years. I live in Kansas.

Thanks Kim emoticon Todays workout was moving the fridge and cleaning under it,And then running up and down the stairs cleaning outall the food to get ready for hte new arrival of a new fridge tomorrow...which is a really good thing as of 3 days ago my fridge started to freeze all mt veges emoticon

Tomorrow will be a full body workout! emoticon

Maybe I'll think about....I am soooo sore from todays and still Sundays workout...I can still curl with my 20 lb dumbells!! That was awesome!!

That would be a great idea doing your strength workout first and then your elliptical because you are already totally committed to your elliptical so then you would for sure get in both! emoticon

Thanks that was a crazy long day and it even set off my slleep last night I had a off and on sleep last night...but hey I still did a workout today!! I did Kelly Coffey Meyers Musle up #2 along with a 4 minute ab cruncher workout...Express Kiss My Abs( lame name but hey what can I do lol)awesome short and effective ab workout!

Nope they put a store spare tire on it...have an appointment Thursday for it but might have to change that...my desk is being delivered on THursday so I will have to see if that comes in before 4 or not emoticon

I ended up going back into the city today because my daughter needed me to drive her in...so I did...now I am really tired. emoticon

So hey I checked out the plank challenge but I don't like the idea of training the same area everyday....the muscle need time to repair for growth...the challenge would be better if it was every other day giving your muscles at least one day to repair emoticon yep

Hi Kim!! emoticon Nope but i will have a look see...most of my workouts have planks in them already...yesterdays workout had so many planks I was shaking on now I am soooooo sore everywhere emoticon love it!!

Good going on the OUCH! Good good stuff!!

I did manage to get in a workout before I went into the city today...I did - Cindy Whitmarsh UltraFit Ultra Burn Calorie Crushing Cardio! It was a blast and it was short and it made me sweat lol emoticon emoticon

And it was a good thing I did that workout before I left as I went into town at 2 this afternoon but on the way there my car was pulling off to the left...I didn't think nothing of it as I just had brand new tires put on my car last week...so I just thought they hadn't adjusted the tires right...not thinking it was my tires at all...so I kept on driving...then about 10 minutes later my car went POP! and the car started to shimy...skake.....so I pulled off to the shoulder and looked at my car...it was the front left tire...FLAT! Brand new....so I got a ride in by a nice lady and her teen daughter...thank goodness no mass murderer lol. ...to fountain tire and they fixed up with a spare tire from their shop...took them 2 hours so by the time I finshed doing what I needed to in town I never left town and into the city it was 5:30...good gravy...so anyhow I got home at 9:445 tonight...good grief htat was a very long day...and oh did I tell you I had to drive slowly on my way back home because we are getting a storm here? Oh well safe at home and everything is put away...and now I am sparking lol emoticon

How was your day? And oh yeah by the way the only reason I did that workout is because I tild you I was going to do one before I left...and I did..thanks you rock my friend emoticon
