I'm a vegetarian who can't cook well. I'm trying to learn how to cook, eat a healthy diet, eat less chocolate and lose weight. I'm here to find cooking ideas. I have been following Eat to Live book by Joel Furhman.

I'm finding out that when I eat mostly fruits and veggies I lose weight (I've lost over 15 pounds) and when I start eating the junk the weight comes back (hey doesn't that makes sense). And here is the best part, I'm never hungry.

I exercise 40 minutes ...

I exercise 40 minutes on my elliptical, and I have been doing P90X three times a week (finished P90X and will start again sometime). I also do some exercise DVDs, lift weights and other exercise. I always need ideas for other exercise ideas.

My Goals:
Losing weight by eating healthy foods. Learning to cook will help.

I have been following the Eat To Live plan.

Eating lots of fruits and veggies and some beans, whole grains, nuts and seeds.

My Program:
Exercise 40 minutes a day on the elliptical. I also lift weights, do exercise DVD's and other exercise.

Personal Information:
I have been teaching kids to play the piano for 20 years. I like playing piano and guitar. I like to listen to rock, movie music, classical and jazz.
Scifi and action adventure movies are my favorite movies to go see.
Reading books is very fun and exiciting. It's takes me away from it all. I like scifi, action adventure and fantasy books the best.

Other Information:
I have been a vegetarian for 20 years. I live in Kansas.

Hi Kim had the kids over last again...was hoping to get in a workout but my oldest grandson was really hard to get him to go to sleep last night. Lol was evening to tired for 10 minutes last night...but will start that up today!! emoticon But come end of October my daughter is done with evening shifts which will be awesome!! emoticon

Today I have to mow the lawn...if I can find the garage key...and hopefully make myself do a workout this evening. I need an elliptical! Then it would be so much easier for me to get in a short workout emoticon

Thanks for the goodie Kim and being such a good sp friend! emoticon thanks they are cute lol. I almost forgot how to knit its been such a long time...had to rip the baby blanket once but now I got it lol...its baby blue and really soft.

What you doing today? I am being lazy...had a disturbed sleep last night...4 grandkids slept over and one had a bad ear infections(she is on medication) so needless to say no workout yesterday but I did clean the house for 4 hours. I hope I can master the energy and time to get one in tonight.

THat sounds like humans...when all else fails call the experts and by then its to late....good grief. emoticon

Thanks I have to be careful how I use it...soon it will be better emoticon but hey did get in a awesome step workout! love step workouts!

Knitting up a storm for my daughters on the way new baby...making a fuzzy blanket, a sweater a suit and maybe another blanket...lol we will see...but that is what I would like to get done for the little chap.

Hi Kim sorry I was off for awhile...been really busy...huge garden, babysitting for my daughter, helping mom, and keeping the yard up...hubbie was gone for a month...then just 4 days before I was ready to work out I pulled my shoulder muscle or it got strained ...but which ever it hurt like crazy...still does hurt but at least walking now doesn't jar it ...I was able to get in a fantastic workout tonight for like the longest time ever!! I did Gin miller Everybody step along with Cathe's Ab Hits #1...loved it!! it was perfect! :)

Thanks for keeping the team going! emoticon Its been really busy...how aare you doing? Hows the piano's? I hope I can be back on more often now that the crazy part of summer is done and over...lol until next year!
