A Brief Bio

My name is Debbie and I am a fundraiser who finally landed a great job at a private university in Foundation Relations in June. I have used my 13 months time off well, growing closer in my walk of faith, volunteered with several organizations, quit smoking (since March 18th), starting walking every day, made new friends, and learned to have a loving heart again. I love to garden, enjoy good food and wine, and read. I want to work for at least 6-7 more years and then spend 50% of my time ...
My name is Debbie and I am a fundraiser who finally landed a great job at a private university in Foundation Relations in June. I have used my 13 months time off well, growing closer in my walk of faith, volunteered with several organizations, quit smoking (since March 18th), starting walking every day, made new friends, and learned to have a loving heart again. I love to garden, enjoy good food and wine, and read. I want to work for at least 6-7 more years and then spend 50% of my time traveling around this beautiful world and 50% helping others as a volunteer.

I am still looking for the perfect position and organization I can really get passionate about. Perhaps 2014 will be my year. Would be nice to add to my list of accomplishments this year that I had lost enough to get under the 160 mark. Only 3 pounds to go.

Debbie, Thanks for checking on me. How are you doing? We finished, closed out Mom's condo on Wednesday. My Sis drove back to ATL yesterday.
WOW... who knew how physically & emotionally exhausting this could be.
