SO BUSY BUT BACK ON TARGET!

I AM IN CONTROL OF THE FOOD (MOSTLY) rather than it controlling me!
I am getting a grip on my weight with the help of the Slimming World healthy eating plan now but do realise my addiction to food means I have to be constantly vigilant of the 'extras'/syns

I HAVE TAKEN TARGET again and am just below my SW target and intend to maintain it - the really hard bit.

Slimming World is all about Synergy (put every element together).

2 Healthy Extras - A section and B section
3 Syns - 10 per day or 70 per week

We need to put all three elements together for Synergy!

Also try to drink at least 7 glasses of water/fluid every day

WRITE IT DOWN SO I KNOW I'M USING RATHER THAN ABUSING THE SYNS!

I now also recognise how important staying to Image Therapy group is, supporting other people as well! I know the plan really well and know it works!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My Goals:
I have achieved my goal with Slimming World in December 2014 and want to maintain that weight =/-3lbs!

My Program:
Going to keep following the plan, writitng my food diary and from 1st Jan try to follow the 100 day challenge to try to alter my eating habits permanently. :-)

My name is Donna. I live near Preston, Lancashire. I have two children, a girl Chloe who is 13 and a son James who will be 11 in March. I am happily married to Tony, we've been together for more than 25 years and married for 14 years.

Other Information:
I love reading, especially James Patterson books

I also like zumba classes but can't go to as many as I'm working more hours

I like to go to my pilates class on Wednesday afternoons when I can

Hi Donna! You're welcome for the comments! I know what you mean... I too love looking at both my own family's and other people's old photos and the comments on them. Especially now I don't have either of my parents anymore and then last year lost my Missy, my memories are precious to me. Thank you for your compliments on my paintings... I do them for fun. My family has a long history of various artists in our background but I never had any training or school for it. I just draw and paint as I can and hope the result is recognizable!

Thanks also for your comment on my Missy... she was lovely.. my gorgeous girl inside and out. I had her for almost 16 yrs. She was my last pet and I haven't gotten another one yet.... the timing isn't right. Someday I will again because I've had pets my entire life and I love animals, but I'm dealing with a lot of personal family stuff right now.

I tried looking up the Slimming World plan after seeing it mentioned on your page... I'm very curious... from the descriptions, I wasn't sure how it actually worked... how do you know how MUCH to eat? That part reminds me of Weight Watcher's older Simply Filling Plan which I never got the hang of. For me, I like having a range of amounts of food to aim for... I'm good with some structure. But I think it's good that there are different methods and types of programs out there, so people can choose and figure out what works best for them. It sounds you're doing fantastic - that's wonderful! Meanwhile, I'm wishing you a wonderful day! I'm in the middle of a major snow blizzard in the U.S. so I hope your weather is much nicer than mine! emoticon emoticon emoticon

Hi Donna, oh I sure do understand how life invades our plans. I'm just trying to take things one day at a time and focus on making the best choices I can. I'm treating it like a lifestyle, which will be full of changes, twists and turns and adjustments, instead of a diet. I hadn't heard of the Slimming World eating plan... I'll have to look that up.
