Autumn is in the Air

A new season is transitioning into our lives. I hate to see summer go, especially the one of 2014. It was relatively mild and enjoyable where I live.

Now autumn is in the air which translates into soups and heartier foods. It's a tricky time for me. The wonderful aromas just tempt me into sampling throughout the day. My weakness exposed!

The up sides: hiking along a mountain trail, golden-leaved aspens all around. Great exercise!

Thank you so much for visiting my blog and leavingsuch an understanding and encouraging comment.Much appreciated. Need all the encouragement I can get to keep me on track!
As you say - there is light at the end of my tunnel - finally - and I do need to formalise things to pursue that.
Good luck with your own journey emoticon emoticon

Good morning and Happy Monday! I wish you a successful and healthy week. My food for thought today is by Theodore Roosevelt:

“With self-discipline most anything is possible”

So I challenge you to set your goals and work on self-discipline this week and see where you end up at the end of the week!

Thanks for the cuppa hot cocoa! Warmed me up nicely! Since I got soaked it's rained the rest of the day in downpours alternating with sunshine. Right now it's coming down pretty good. Oh well, it's night so I'll play on the computer. Tonight's supposed to be the rocket launch - last night's launch was scrubbed. Tonight probably will be too, if so it'll be the 23rd before they are saying they'll try again. Hoping for good weather so I can get out on the beach and watch the launch - even if it's 35 miles away it does light up the sky and you can see the trail as it lifts off and then hear the roar of the rocket engines.
Hope your weekend is great! Take care.

We don't have to be perfect, we just have to make an effort. No more excuses, just do what needs to be done, the best way you can. Even if it seems very little, you are doing more than the person who is sitting on the sofa. So spend you thoughts on thinking about moving each day and keep focused on your goal! Go for the priceless prize...a healthier you. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon
