100 Pounds Less

Hi there! I am a farm wife whose only car is my pickup truck. I like to knit, crochet, quilt, and embroider all of which my mother taught me at a very early age. Anyway, my youngest sister (who is as good as Mom) calls me the 'cavegirl' crafter. I am not offended. I do what I do because it is fun for me. When it becomes something I am obsessing over, I will quit!!! I am dvgirl3 because there are 5 of us in Ohio (6 if you count Mom). I would rather be in my yard than just about anywhere else. That sort of makes me a wanna be a landscaper. I am partial to country music and rock from the 50's, 60's and 70's. However, I can listen to anything, well maybe not rap. I love Peeps, chocolate and circus peanuts, my favorite movie is 'Music Man'. I once aspired to be one of the Jimmy Dean Dancers then a veterinarian and now I am a nurse.

My Goals:
Being healthy is the true goal. If losing weight stops some of the uncomfortableness that is wonderful and then if I look sexy that would be great!

My Program:
To write down what I eat, at least that is where I am starting. From there just being more organized about menus and how I shop. Along with that I am currently figuring out how I can add more focused exercise to my life.

Personal Information:
I have been a nurse for 30+ years and feel that I should never have let my self get out of control like this, but HEY it happened and now I need to deal with it.

This is an excited group of folks and really active team so you should be able to find all sorts of inspiration and motivation. Just jump right in. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
